Thick sheets of ice have encased the majority of Europe in what seems to be one of the worst winters to date. Take a look at this photograph of frozen boats by Yann Le Biannic and be glad that winter in the US has been relatively mild or be scared that the earth is melting. Be scared. Be very, very scared.

The Giants played an awesome game against the Patriots during the Super Bowl, taking the Vince Lombardi trophy home to New York. But as the fans and his fellow teammates were celebrating on the field amidst the confetti and rolling cameras, linebacker Greg Jones celebrated in his own way by proposing to his girlfriend Mandy Piechowski. Pretty sweet.
